The EM-1039 is a hand stapler gun, for fixing sheet and flexible material down quickly where a nail would be slow and a screw unnecessary. One hand operation means the other hand stays free to hold and tension the material, which is most of the reason the tool exists.
Typical work is upholstery and re-covering, fixing insulation and vapour membrane, roofing felt, ceiling and wall linings, fabric and mesh, and holding sheeting in place while a permanent fixing goes in. Squeeze force is set by the mechanism rather than by how hard you swing, so depth of drive stays consistent across a long run.
