Part of the EBImax range, the EM-5500SDS/EM-6500SDS/EM-7500SDS/EM-8500SDS is a SKW/5.5KW/6.5KW/7.5KW generator for site power, standby supply and off-grid running. It is wired for 220V/380V single-phase supply.
Size a set against starting load rather than running load. Motors and compressors draw several times their rated current for the first moments, and headroom above the nameplate figure is what stops a generator stalling under inrush.
In practice that means running tools where there is no mains supply, and backing up shops and workshops.
