An SMR shaft mounted reducer bolts straight onto the driven shaft rather than sitting on its own base, with a torque arm taking the reaction. Doing away with a separate foundation, coupling and alignment makes installation much quicker, and it removes the misalignment that quietly shortens bearing life on conventionally mounted drives.
Shaft mounted reducers are the standard drive arrangement on belt conveyors, bucket elevators, screw conveyors and crushing and screening plant, particularly in quarrying, mining and bulk handling where machines are large and site conditions are rough.
Ratios, shaft bores and torque ratings are not yet published here. Tell us the shaft size and the load and we will confirm the right unit.
