The GX-390 is a petrol engine for driving pumps, compactors and light plant.

A 6.5L tank is what determines how long it will run between refuelling, which matters more than peak output on jobs that run all day. Size a set against starting load rather than running load. Motors and compressors draw several times their rated current for the first moments, and headroom above the nameplate figure is what stops a generator stalling under inrush.

It is aimed at repowering equipment and building up pump and generator sets.
