The EMH-20D is a diesel-engined water pump, supplied as a complete portable set rather than a bare pump needing a drive. Having engine and pump matched and mounted together means it can be dropped onto site, primed and run without any electrical supply.
Diesel suits pumping duties that run for hours rather than minutes: irrigation, transfer between tanks and reservoirs, dewatering excavations, and agricultural work away from the yard. Fuel consumption per hour of work is lower than an equivalent petrol set and the engine copes better with sustained load.
