The EM-140 is a 1700W demolition breaker for breaking out concrete, slab and hard standing. Supply is 220V-240V 50/60Hz, which covers standard single-phase mains and generator output.
A rotary hammer delivers its blow differently from a percussion drill. Rather than relying on the operator to push, an internal piston drives the bit forward, so the machine does the work and the drilling rate holds steady through a long run of holes. That is why it turns at a deliberate 1800r/min rather than the higher figure you would see on a general-purpose drill: in masonry, energy per blow matters more than rotational speed.
It is aimed at lifting floors, cutting openings in walls, and breaking up footings and kerbs.
